The weather cleared up and I was able to do the workout outside. I did not wear a HR monitor.

Today's scheduled workout was 2500 swim workout and Run 0:45 Z2 with 5 minute pickup at 0:10.
I'm not sure how much I swam in the Masters swim.
I did the run outside without a HR monitor. I don't think I was running at a Z4 pace for the 5 minutes, but I did pick up the pace.

Today's scheduled workout was 2500 swim workout.
I don't know how long the Masters swim was. I did some interesting sets, though. Jeff wasn't there today and Jim stood in for him.
One of the sets was 8X50 with descending sendoff. 1:20; 1:15; 1:10; 1:20; 1:15; 1:10; 1:05. I was able to do each repeat pretty comfortably at almost one minute exactly. This is pretty good considering I'm swimming 50m not 50yd.
Through the course of the workout I covered fly, back and crawl. I'm really glad that Jeff taught me how to do the one arm fly. I enjoyed the 6X25 set of that.

I ran for about 1:30 without a HR monitor. It was already great weather in the morning. The only issue I had with the workout was that my stomach was still complaining from the snack I had before I went to bed last night.

Today's scheduled workout was Bike 2:00 Z2.
I rode downtown to Cherry Creek Trail into Bear Creek Trail for about 2:10 without a HR monitor. I took it nice and easy and my leg feels fine. I was able to complete the workout before we had a birthday party to go to. I was getting a bit warm by the time I was finishing up, as the temperature had definitely increased from the time that I had started.
I must admit that it's a bit distressing thinking about how much work I have to do to be able to ride 112 miles and be ready to run a marathon after that.

My glute was still very sore this morning. But, I didn't want to miss another workout and I figured I could handle an easy swim. I'm really glad that I did get to the pool. I think I did 1950: 200 wu crawl, 100 dolphin kick on back with fins, 3 X (100 one-arm fly with fins, 100 breast, 100 crawl), 200 pull, 50 dolphin kick on back, 300 cd crawl.
