[Tuesday, February 3, 2015]

Today's scheduled workout was a 1600 yd Swim and a 0:30 Run Z2.

I did the Masters swim. We did a good amount of speed-type work today. One set was 4X100 as fast as you can with about 1 minute rest. I wore fins and cranked it up. My lungs felt like they were going to explode.

I ran 0:30 without a HR monitor.

As always, it's an awesome way to start the day!

Today's scheduled workout was Run 0:30 Z1 - Z2.

I ran for 0:30 without a HR monitor. We had gotten snow last night so I was having to make my way through it. But, I was happy to be outside running. The time went by in a  flash.

Road Ride Zone 2

Today's scheduled workout was Bike 0:30 Z2.

I rode to Green Mountain rec center and came back down Jewell. I did not wear the HR monitor and it took me about 0:32.

While it was a bit chilly today (one sign said 37 degrees), I loved riding outside and I loved riding this route.

Today's scheduled workout was Swim 1600 yd, Run 0:15 Z2.

I was up in time to get to the Masters swim, but I had a little issue that prevented me from being able to get out the door fast enough. So, I did my own 30 minute swim workout in the short lanes. Then I ran 0:30 without a HR monitor; I hadn't looked at the workout and didn't realize it was decreased.

The workout scheduled for today was Bike 0:30 Z2.

I rode the Garrison route again for about 0:30 without a HR monitor. I got much farther before the turn around than I did yesterday; it was more typical compared to other workouts. I did end up riding closer to 0:32, though.

I rode outside for 0:30 without a HR monitor. I did the route up Garrison and I was a little slow today. I don't know if it was the wind or if I'm tired.

Today's scheduled workout was a 1600 yd/m swim and a 0:30 Run Z2.

I did the Masters swim. The workout was pretty interesting. Tuesday's workout was a whole lot of kicking. Today had much more variety.

I ran 0:30 without a HR monitor.

Today was so much better than last week. It's perfect getting up early and getting in my workout. And it's great to have somebody else come up with the swim workout.
