Multi #6 (Brick)
I missed my chance to do my workout in the 60 degree weather today. The sun was lower in the sky and the temperature had dropped into the 50's by the time I started just after 4:00. But, I was comfortable enough with the clothes I chose.
I rode for 30 minutes and ran for 15 minutes. The ride was fine. The run felt really good.

Things didn't work out for me to do the swim / run workout today. I ended up having to pick Eli up from school. So I did about a 45 minute run pushing him in the stroller. I guess I can hope that the extra effort from pushing him in the stroller offset the fact that I missed the swim workout.

Today's workout was both somewhat challenging and somewhat enjoyable. I had to focus on relaxing while I was making my way up Alameda. I think that I'm definitely a bit tired from yesterday's workout. It will be a while before I'll be ready to increase that time / difficulty of that workout and, as a result, this workout as well.

The bike computer didn't run the entire time I was on the ride. So I don't know exactly how long I rode. It was somewhere around 2:35 or 2:40. I rode up to the entrance for Buffalo Bill's Grave and Museum. I had intended to grind it out until I made it to the Lookout Mountain Nature center. But, I decided I had enough. I'm glad that I did turn around then. It was really cold on the way back down and I was very tired and hungry for a good part of the ride back.
This was a great workout. I think that I will both love and dread it for some time to come.

I swam 100 X 25 yds. By the end I was definitely choppier and did not feel the same sense of forward momentum. I think that I was taking 1 - 2 more strokes per length as well.
I'm glad to have finally turned my "long swim" day into a longer swim. This will also be good preparation for when I start the Masters swim in January.

I had to abbreviate the workout today. I rode for about 22 minutes and ran for about 10 minutes. I'm glad that I completed at least this short workout. It felt great to be outside getting some fresh air and exercise, even though it was a little bit chilly.

I did the first 35 minutes of the run with Lana. I pushed Eli in the stroller for about 20 of those minutes.
I finished the last 55 minutes on my own. The temperature dropped steeply and instantly about 40 minutes into the run. So, it was quite chilly for me. I was really glad that I ended up wearing running tights and a long sleeve tech shirt.

I continue to be occupied by managing my Kickstarter campaign. So, my workout got thrown off today. Instead, I took care of some errands by bike. I think that I rode somewhere around 90 minutes total.

I had to do my workout in the 50 foot lanes today. So, I swam 75 X 33 yd. I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. I would have even been willing to swim another 25 X 33 yd, but I decided it's probably better to take things a little more slowly.
