On Living an Exceptional Life
I haven't posted anything really personal for quite some time. So, here's a really short piece.
The TL;DR - As I was doing my run workout today I had the thought "I'd rather fail at living an exceptional life than succeed at living a mediocre life."
Here's a tiny bit more detail about why I was having that thought. I'm pursuing a lot of big dreams right now.
All these training diary entries are part of my IronMan quest. I originally had the goal of completing and IronMan in under 12 hours for my 50th birthday. These past two seasons of training have given me a bit of feedback that I may need to revise my expectation on that.
I've been working on the side to create Udemy courses. It's part of my plan to become truly my own boss and truly in charge of my schedule. I have a fantasy (just to be honest about it) of building my income from selling online courses to $100,000 / month. At this point I'm not even in the same galaxy as that goal. I've earned a grand total of $41 in just over five months.
If I can reach an adequate monthly income (through online courses or whatever means), I want to knock down my current house and build the house of my dreams on my property. I also want to do my dream architectural landscaping on my property.
I've got other dreams and visions I'd like to manifest as well. But, I think those three show just what an exceptional life I'm looking to live.
Now let's see how all that works out for me.
I give thanks to the Universe for the abundance it provides me. I surrender and am open and ready to receive.
