I made it to the Masters swim today. It was hard getting up at 4:30, but I did it.

I swam the Masters workout and then I ran for 0:30 without the HR monitor.

It's great to get up in the morning and get in my workout.

I was able to get outside! I rode for about 0:30 without a HR monitor.

Yay for being able to do my workout outside! I think it was in the 40's. I had no problem dressing properly and being able to enjoy this easy ride.

The scheduled workout for today was Swim: 200wu, 8X50DR, 20X25@10sec, 8X50DR, 100cd; Run 0:30 Z2

The flu kicked in on Sunday night and I was laid low yesterday. I spent most of the day in bed. But, I was able to shake it. I didn't want to push too hard today.

I swam for 30 minutes. I did a 200wu. Then I mixed up 50yd fist drills with 50yd swim. I used the tempo trainer for a bunch of 50's as well.

I ran 0:30 without a HR monitor at an easy effort.

The scheduled workout for today is Run 0:30 Z1 - Z2.

I didn't bother wearing a HR monitor since I'm confident that I can keep it in that range without a problem. I ran 0:30.

I'm definitely fighting an illness right now. So, I'm glad that I'm back at the beginning of the program and I didn't have a 90 minute run today.

I took a Cold-Eze this morning. I also took a packet of emergen-c just now.
