I was very productive in making some great progress on my next Udemy course this morning. I had intended to ride with a cycling group today. Instead I just got back from an easy one hour ride. I think that it's a better balance that I allowed the bike ride to take a back seat. I will be very happy when I get this next course published.
I ran for about one hour today. It looks like my running is getting more attention this week.
As things turned out today, I didn't end up doing any workout. I did take Zen for a walk in the evening, though.
It feels strange for me to be letting my workouts slide so much. But, there is probably some value in changing up my routine for a while.
As things went today, I ended up just riding to pick up Eli from school. I put my time and focus on other things today, and I suppose that's probably okay. My workouts took priority for a long time and it's not bad for me to get a little rest.
I decided to do another run this morning. I got out the door by about 6:28 and caught the sun rising as I headed north up Kipling. It was a really beautiful sight. I ran for about one hour in the cool morning air and thoroughly enjoyed it. I could have run for another hour.
I got up early but ended up deciding to skip the swim workout. I went for a one hour run instead. I enjoyed the workout and ran the whole time.
I rode for about 1 hour. I did an out and back on the Bear Creek Trail heading east.
This was a different type of challenge for me this week riding six days in a row. I'm glad to have completed the challenge!
I rode for just over 2 hours today. I rode Morrison through Bear Creek Lake Park to the C470 trail until Ken Caryl. I had planned to do a loop in the Deer Creek Canyon area, but decided I didn't need to do a 4+ hour ride today.
I rode for about 1:45. Morrison / C470 / Dinosaur Ridge / 93 / 40 / Rooney / Jewell
